Qualifications :  (i) B.Tech in Marine/Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture and Extra First Class Certificate of Competency (MOT) (ii) 15 years of relevant experience out of which atleast 2 years in the position of Chief Engineer OR 5 years experience as Reader in Marine Engineering

Desirable : Ph.D/M.Tech in Marine Engineering

Salary : Rs. 1,33,000/- per month

Age Limit :   The maximum age limit for appointment will be 69 years, as stipulated by the DG Shipping.

Hostel Manager

No. of Vacancies :   7

Qualifications :  Junior Commissioned Officers/Chief Petty Officers/ Junior Warrant Officers with minimum 15 years of military service (Army/Navy/Air Force)

Pay :  Rs.23310/-

Computer Programmer

No. of Vacancies :    2

Qualifications :   Masters Degree in Computer Science / MCA/ B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology with at least 55%  marks or equivalent grade and 2 years relevant experience in the role of computer Programmer in industries/ Public Sector undertakings.

Pay :  Rs.42,305/-

Application Fee : Rs.670/-for (General) and Rs.130/- for SC/ST candidates.

The establishment of the erstwhile University of Cochin in 1971 was a commitment from the Government of Kerala towards the new scientific policy resolution adopted by the Central Government on 4th March 1958. The birth of the new University was with the specific purpose of “development of higher education with particular emphasis on post-graduate studies and research in applied science, technology, industry and commerce”. The University of Cochin was later reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986.
