General Manager /Company Secretary /Welfare Officer recruitment in Madras Fertilizers Limited, (MFL)

1. General Manager (Plant) - E8 
/ 01 - (UR)


Qualification: a. First class degree in Chemical Engineering

Minimum 25 Years experience in Chemical Process Industries with 2 years in the immediate lower position in the pay scale (E7- IDA 2007))i.e., Rs.43200-66000 applicable to Public Sector Employee. (OR) Equivalent (For those working in Private Companies of turnover not less than 1500 Crores) with minimum pay of Rs.90,000/- i.e., Basic Pay + DA.

Age: 48 / 50 yrs 

Pay Scale : Rs.51300-73000


2. General Manager (M&D) – E8/01 - (OBC)

Qualification:  a. First Class degree in Agriculture. b. MBA degree in Marketing (Full Time)

25 Years experience in the field of Marketing preferably Agriculture /Agri-related products with 2 years’ in the immediate lower position in the pay scale (E7 – IDA 2007) i.e., Rs.43200-66000 for Public Sector Employee. (OR) Equivalent (For those working in Private Companies of turnover not less than 1500 Crores) with pay of minimum Rs.90,000/- i.e., Basic Pay + DA.

Age: 48 / 50 yrs

Pay Scale : Rs. 51300-73000 


3. Company Secretary - E5 /01 - (UR) 

Qualification:  Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Officers should have total 15 years’ experience with a post qualification experience of five years in Company Secretarial functions. 

Experience in Financial Management, Accounts, Audit, Cost & Budgetary Control, Working capital management, etc. is preferable. Should be well versed in computerised environment. Those having experience in Fertilizer / Process Industries will have an added advantage
Age:45 / 50 yrs 

Pay Scale : Rs.32900-58000 


4. Safety Officer – E2 /01 - (UR) 

Qualification:  First class degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology with diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by Govt. of India. 

Must have 5 years experience as Safety Officer in a reputed factory.

Age: 35 / 45 yrs

Pay Scale : Rs. 20600-46500 


5. Welfare Officer – E2/01 - (UR) 

Qualification: First Class degree in Master of Labour Management or Post Graduate degree in Social Work or Social Welfare recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Government Regulatory Bodies.

Minimum of 5 years experience as Welfare Officer in any reputed factory

Age: 35 / 45 yrs 

Pay Scale : Rs.20600-46500 


6. Manager (Electrical) - E5 / 01 - (UR) 

Qualification: First Class BE / B.Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Post- qualification experience of 15 Years in Process Industries for 110/11 KV System, 11 KV Diesel Generator, UPS, LT Motors, HT 11 KV & 3.3 KV Motors, Station Batteries etc. with 2 years in the immediate lower position in the pay scale (E4- IDA 2007))i.e., Rs.29100- 54500 applicable to Public Sector Employee. Knowledge in tendering process is preferable.

Age:36 / 45 yrs 

Pay Scale : Rs.32900-58000


7. Manager (Instrumentation) – E5 /01 - (UR) 

Qualification: First Class B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics.

Post- qualification experience of 15 Years experience in Process Industry for Field and Panel Instrument, Analytical Instruments, DCS, PLC,FSC System (Honeywell / Yokogawa),with 2 years in the immediate lower position in the pay scale (E4- IDA 2007))i.e., Rs.29100- 54500 applicable to Public Sector Employee. Knowledge in tendering process is preferable.

Age:36 / 45 yrs

Pay Scale : Rs. 32900-58000 


8. Dy.Manager (Civil) – E3 /01 - (UR)

Qualification:  First Class B.E/ B.Tech Degree in Civil. 

Post-qualification experience of 9 years in Industrial Building Construction, Maintenance, scaffolding etc. Knowledge in Tendering Process is preferable. 

Age:  30 / 40 yrs 

Pay Scale : Rs.24900-50500 


9. Dy.Manager (Liaison Officer) – E3 /01 - (UR) 

Qualification: First Class PG Degree in Personnel Management or Public Administration with MBA (Full Time).

9 years experience in liaison activities with Government Depts. / Private Companies of turnover not less than 1500 Crores, with sound knowledge of Hindi and English. Exposure of Fertilizer field will be preferred.

Age:30 / 40 yrs 

Pay Scale : Rs.24900-50500 


10. Jr Medical Assistant (Male) 


Gr IIIA (Candidates registered in the State Nursing Council during 2018 and candidates completing the course in 2019)/ 01 - (UR) 


Qualification:  Diploma in Nursing. Must have their names registered in the State Nursing Council.

Candidates registered in the State Nursing Council during 2018 and candidates completing the course in 2019.

Pay Scale : Rs. 9270-3%-(30)

11. Jr. Fireman – Gr II
Candidates passed Fireman’s Certificate Course during 2018 and thereafter only. Ex-Servicemen /04 (3 – UR) (1 – OBC) 

Qualification:  SSLC. Must have completed Fireman’s Certificate Course from NFSC, Nagpur / State / Central Government Fire Service Institute. The duration of the course shall not be less than Six Months. (OR) Ex-Servicemen who undergone training in Basic Fire Fighting and Operation of Fire Tenders with a Certificate from Defence Services.

Candidates passed Fireman’s Certificate Course during 2018 and thereafter only. In case of Ex-servicemen, age shall not be more than 40 years. Must possess valid HMV Licence. Physical Standard: Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties Height without shoes shall be minimum of 165 cms and vision shall be 6/6 without lid and shall not have colour blindness.

Age: not more than 40 years.

Pay Scale :Rs. 9020-3%-(30) 

Place of Posting:It will be Chennai for all the above posts except for Liaison Officer which will be at Delhi, but they will be required to work anywhere in India. 

Method of Selection: For Posts (Jr. Medical Assistants & Jr.Fireman) written test will be conducted
