JRF Physics Job Opportunity in BITS-Pilani

Project:  UV­Guided Study of Blue Straggler Stars in Open Clusters and Galactic Fields

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 60% marks/ 6.0 CGPA.  It is expected that the candidate has a sound mathematical background and good academic records.  Some experience in coding and knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ and Python will be considered an asset.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/­ per month + HRA as per the Institute norms (For NET/GATE qualified  candidate) Rs. 21,700/­ per month + HRA as per the Institute norms (For others)

Selection Procedure: Short­listed candidates will be informed the date of personal interview by email.  The interview will be conducted at the Pilani campus.  No TA/DA will be provided for the interview. The selected candidate is expected to join the JRF position immediately.
