JRF/ Project Assistant Materials Science recruitment
Name of Project: Infrared Plasmonics of Nanostructured Conducting Oxides for communication and spectroscopic applications
Minimum Educational qualification: ( as prescribed by the funding agency) MSc/MTech in Physics/Photonics/Materials Science with 60% marks.
And qualified in a national Level Examination (CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship, GATE, JEST or equivalent)
Preference: Preference will be given for those with experience in (i) growth of nanostructured conducting oxides and their optoelectronic characterisation.
(ii) those with published research work of high quality in related areas
Desirable criteria: (i) Familiarity with semiconductor processing techniques including Photolithography, Wet etching, physical evaporation etc.

Fellowship amount: Rs 31000 for JRF and Rs 22,000 for Project Assistant
Age: The upper age limit for JRF applicants shall be 28 years on the day of application. Relaxation as per GoI norms are applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates and women candidates.
