Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Zoology (Preferably Fish Biology). For JRF, NET qualification is compulsory. The NET qualification is as per SERB notification No.SB/S9/Z-01/2015 dtd. 7/1/2015 and 5B/59/Z-06/2019 dtd. 23/04/2019. For PF, Post Graduate Degree in Zoology with 55% marks and above.
Fellowship : Rs. 31000 + HRA (as per admissible) for NET qualified candidates per month. Project Fellow will receive Rs. 16000/- + HRA (as per admissible) per month. Project Fellow may be upgraded to JRF on acquiring necessary qualification as per SERB norms.
Age Limit : Must not be over 28 years as on the date of application (relaxable as per the norms of Government of India).
