JRF Remote Sensing  Job Opportunity at National Institute of Technology Karnataka- Surathkal

Project Title :Unravelling Submarine Groundwater Discharge (SGD) zones along Indian subcontinent and its islands (Mission – SGD)

Qualification and Experience: i) ME/M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering / Remote Sensing / Environmental Engg with consistently good academic records with GATE qualified. OR 

ii) Postgraduate degree in Hydrogeology, with NET qualified Basic exposure to computer software, work experience on standard packages like GMS/MODFLOW and SPSS/R is desirable. This project includes 50% field work to collect water samples and testing on field using water quality kit and laboratory analysis.

Monthly Fellowship :Rs. 31,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowances (HRA) if campus accommodation is not available

Age limit : 26 years (to be relaxed for exceptional candidates)
