Lecturer

No. of Posts :  02 (UR-1, ST-1)

Qualification : Post Graduate in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute AND (+) Full Time Degree/Full time three years Diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Hotel Management/Hospitality Administration/Culinary Art/Culinary Science with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from :  (i) NCHMCT or NCHMCT affiliated institute. OR (ii) An institute approved by AICTE. OR (iii) An Institute approved by the State Board of Technical Education. OR (iv) An Institute affiliated to University duly recognized by UGC. OR (v) Central/State/Deemed to be University recognized by UGC. OR  (vi) Equivalent degree/Diploma of Foreign University/Institution recognized by AIU.

Desirable : PhD degree

Experience :  At least 5 years teaching experience in the grade of Assistant Lecturer or equivalent (at UG level programme) from an Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology/AICTE/State Board of Technical Education/Recognized University.  OR  At least 7 years total experience (Teaching and Industry together) including three years experience in teaching/ training of a three star/heritage or above category approved hotel.

Pay Scale  (As per 7th CPC) : Level-7

Age Limit  :  Below 40 years as on 17/06/2019

Assistant Lecturer

No. of Posts : 05 (UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1 & ST-1)

Qualification : Category A:  Post graduate in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute.  AND (+)  Full Time Degree/Full time three years Diploma in Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management/Hotel Management/Hospitality Administration/Culinary Art/Culinary Science with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from :  (i) NCHMCT or NCHMCT affiliated institute. OR (ii) An institute approved by AICTE. OR (iii) An Institute approved by the State Board of Technical Education. OR (iv) An Institute affiliated to University duly recognized by UGC. OR (v) Central/State/Deemed to be University recognized by UGC. OR (vi) Equivalent degree/Diploma of Foreign University/Institution recognized by AIU.

Desirable  :  1.    PhD degree 2.   Six months working experience in a three star or above category hotel

Mandatory Qualification: Candidate should have qualified NHTET with prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.

Category B:   Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Administration/ Hotel Management/Culinary Art from a recognized University/ Institute securing not less than 55% in aggregate and at least two years of hospitality industry experience and also should have qualified NHTET with prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.

Pay Scale  (As per 7th CPC) : Level-6

Age Limit  :  Preferably below 35 years as on 17/06/2019

Teaching Associate

No. of Posts :  05 (UR-3, OBC-1 & SC-1)

Qualification : 1. An NHTET qualified candidate with prescribed percentage to qualify for Teaching Associate.  AND 2. Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University and full time Master’s degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/Hotel Management  securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate either in bachelor’s or master’s degree. OR Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration/Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate with 2 years industry experience.

Pay Scale  (As per 7th CPC) : Rs. 25, 000/- per month (consolidated)

Age Limit  :  Preferably below 30 years as on 17/06/2019. Upper Age limit is relaxable as per Government of India norms

Administrative Officer

No. of Post : 01 (UR)

Qualifications:  Bachelor of Commerce/BBA from a recognized University securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate.

Experience :  At least 8 years of service in Administration and Accounts and Office Documentation in any Central/State Govt. Institute of Hotel Management or Food Craft Institute or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body in grade pay of `4200 or equivalent/above.  Computer competency is essential.

Pay Scale  (As per 7th CPC) : Level-10

Age Limit  :  Preferably below 50 years as on 17/06/2019

Lower Division Clerk

No. of Posts : 02 (UR-1 & OBC-1)

Qualification : 1. 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board. 2.  Having typing speed of 40 w.p.m. 3. Working knowledge of Computer

Desirable : 1. Graduate degree from a recognized University

Pay Scale  (As per 7th CPC) : Level-2

Age Limit  :  Preferably below 28 years as on 17/06/2019

Application Fee : application fee if applicable of Rs.700/- (for UR/OBC) and Rs.350/- (for SC/ST) candidates through Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'The Principal, IHM Lucknow' on any nationalized bank payable at Lucknow.
