Palliative Medicine :- MD/ MS/ DNB/ MCh/ DM from recognized institute or any other qualification approved by the institute for this purpose from time to time in any of the following specialities‐ Radiotherapy, Anaesthesiology, Medicine, and General Surgery
Minimal Access Surgery :- MS / DNB in General Surgery. MCh/DNB in Paediatric Surgery & Surgical Oncology from recognised Institute.
Emoluments : Rs. 67,700/- as per 7th CPC, Level –11 of the Pay Matrix + NPA plus other usual Allowances as admissible under rules (Rs. 18,750 + 6600(Grade Pay) + NPA plus other usual Allowances as admissible under rules)
Age Limit : 45 years as on the last date of the receipt of the application
I. General/OBC Category : Rs. 1000/- with transaction charges, as applicable.
II. SC/ST Category : Rs. 500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is one of the six AIIMS like apex healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country.
