Project entitled: “Cloning and Characterization of major genes involved in Stearidonic acid biosynthesis in Buglossoides arvensis and engineered production of Stearidonic acid in Chia (Salvia hispanica)” (GAP-0545) funded by SERB, tenable at the Department of Plant Cell Biotechnology, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, Karnataka.
Qualification: First class M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Microbiology or equivalent degree with good academic records.
Desirable: Experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation in plants.
