Project Officer Job Opportunity In International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS)

Roles and Responsibilities: To overall monitor and supervise the field work coordinating with the project coordinators, Investigators, supervisors , To prepare & translate the questionnaire in Marathi and program of data feeding in CAPI ,To conduct the training of the Investigators and Supervisors , To prepare weekly report of the field work and send it to IIPS , To keep a track in taking backup of the data collected in CAPI , To carry out data analysis and prepare the tabulation plan , To prepare the draft report

Qualifications Essentials:  
M.Phil. degree in Population Sciences/MA/MSc degree in Population Studies with three years’ experience.  

Substantial experience in MS-office, handling CAPI device, Knowledge of Marathi language

Desirables:  Qualification can be relaxed if a candidate has minimum 2 years’ experience in above requirements.

Salary :Rs.40000/- Per Month (Consolidated).

The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) serves as a regional Institute for Training and Research in Population Studies for the ESCAP region. It was established in Mumbai in July 1956, till July 1970 it was known as the Demographic Training and Research Centre (DTRC) and till 1985 it was known as the International Institute for Population Studies (IIPS).
