Number of Vacancy : 1

Qualification :  i) Master’s degree in Geology/Geophysics/Seismology with first class (60%) from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Three years of experience in teaching (at graduate/post graduate level) or research and development in Geology/Geophysics/Seismology/Earthquake related studies supported by scientific publications.

Desirable :  i) Doctorate Degree in the relevant subject or area of specialization ii) Exposure to seismological/geophysical and geological data analysis and their interpretation and implementation of R&D projects.

Emoluments :  Rs.15600 + G.P.6,600/- +other admissible emoluments as per DST guidelines.

Age Limit :  Not exceeding 40 years.

Qualification :  i) M. Sc (with minimum 60% marks) in Marine Science/ Earth Sciences any field of Biosciences/Geology/Environmental Science/Geo-Physics). ii) Minimum two years of experience in research/teaching Or Minimum 2 years M.Tech/M.Sc(Tech) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institution in the specialized field of Remote Sensing/ Biotechnology/ Oceanography/ Environmental Sciences

Desirable :  Candidates with exemplary academic record with all examination passed with 60% or above and its equivalent shall be preferred

Emoluments :  (Rs.15600 -39,100) + G.P.5400/- +other admissible emoluments as per DST guidelines.

Age Limit :  Not exceeding 35 years.

Project Scientist “C”

Number of Vacancy : 1

Qualification :  i. M. Sc (with minimum 60% marks) in Marine Science/ Earth Sciences any field of Biosciences/Bio Chemistry/Micro Biology/Geology/Environmental Science. ii. Minimum three years of research/teaching experience

Desirable :  PhD in the relevant subject.

Emoluments :  (Rs.15600 -39,100) + G.P.6600/- + other admissible emoluments as per DST guidelines

Age Limit :  Not exceeding 40 years.

Qualification :  i) Master‟s degree in Hydrology/Water Resources Engineering/ Geology/ Geophysics or Glaciology/ Mathematics with first class (60%) from a recognized University or B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent with first class (60%). ii) Three years of experience in teaching (at graduate/post graduate level) or research and development in Hydrology or Glaciology or relevant field supported by scientific publications. Good experience of working on MS Office tools, Internet tools etc.

Desirable : i) Ph.D in the relevant subject or area of specialization ii) Working experience of handling/managing R&D projects

Emoluments  : (Rs.15600 -39,100) + G.P.6,600/- +other admissible emoluments as per DST guidelines.

Age Limit :  Not exceeding 40 years
