Qualification : MBBS degree recognized by MCI.
Desirable : (i) M.D in Medicine/Biochemistry/Physiology/Pathology/Tropical Medicine/ Pediatrics/Preventive & Social Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/ Pharmacology/Psychiatry/Community & Family Medicine or MPH from a recognized University. (ii) Additional postdoctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). (iii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
PayMatrix Level-10 : Rs.56,100-1,77,500/- and usual allowances as admissible as per Govt. norms.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on 12th December 2018. Upper age limit is relaxable to SC/ST/ OBC and Government Servants as per provision made in Health Research Scientist Cadre (HRSC) of ICMR rules 2007.
Application Fee : Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) payable to the Director, RMRC, Bhubaneswar. SC/ST/ Physically Handicapped (PH) and women/candidates are exempted from the application fee. IPOs are payable by all other candidates including ICMR employees.

Regional Medical Research Centre, NE Region is one of the six regional centres of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It covers the most remote and less developed eight states of the north-eastern region of India and is responsible for carrying out Biomedical Research in the region. It was established in 1982 and runs with intramural grant from ICMR and extramural adhoc projects from different funding agencies.
