Research Assistant / Laboratory Technician /Field Attendant  recruitment in National Institute of Malaria Research NIMR 

Project entitled: “Malaria Evolution in South Asia”.

Research Assistant /1 Post

Essential Qualification: Graduate in science/ relevant subjects from a recognized university with 
three years work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subject. 

Desirable: Field experience in malaria/collection of mosquitoes/molecular identification, good computer skills and experience in using MS Office.

Pay Scale : Rs. 29565

Age: Up to 30 yrs


Laboratory Technician/1 Post

Essential Qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical 
Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/ Laboratory experience. 

* B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience. 

Desirable: Graduate in Life Sciences, Field/ Lab experience in malaria/handling mosquito culture work, Knowledge of MS Office.

Age: Up to 30 yrs.

Pay Scale: Rs. 17,520


Field Attendant 
/2 Posts

Essential Qualification:
High school or equivalent. 

Desirable: Experience in Field Surveys/Mosquito sampling and collection.

Emolument :Rs. 15,330 

Age: up to 25 years

Age Limit: Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules. Also admissible for the candidates in deserving cases possessing experience of working in other research projects in Govt./Autonomous Bodies/PSU etc.
