Research Associate-I recruitment in Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) 


Essential Qualifications: Good academic record and publications with thesis submitted/Ph.D. Degree. 

Expertise in spectroscopy, theoretical Chemistry and numerical algorithms for Chemical Physics and non-adiabatic transitions problems. 

Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis but did not obtain Ph. D. degree will be considered for the post of SRF and will be upgraded to RA-1 once they get provisional Ph.D. degree.

Nationality: Applicant should be an Indian citizen.

Fellowship: As per rules of IACS.

About IACS

Founded on July 29, 1876 by Dr Mahendra Lal Sircar, IACS is the oldest institute in India devoted to the pursuit of fundamental research in the frontier areas of basic sciences. Professor C V Raman worked at IACS during 1907 to 1933, and it is here that he discovered the celebrated Effect that bears his name and for which he was awarded Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.
