Recruitment 2018 Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET ) Exam

Qualification :

For Classes I-V (Primary Level) :  Degree with 02 years B.T.C / N.C.T.E/ Diploma (D.Ed.) / Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

For Classes VI-VIII (Upper Primary Level) :  Degree / 02 years B.T.C/ Intermediate with 50% marks and Degree  in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) BA/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. and Degree in Relevant discipline and B.Ed.

Application Fee:  Application fee Rs. 300/- only Paper I or II for SC/ ST candidates abd Rs.500/- only Paper I or II for General/ OBC  candidates is to be paid by E-challan/ SBI Internet banking/ Debit cards. No fee for PH candidates.

Mode of Selection :  Candidates will be called for Written exam. Exam consists of two Papers. Paper I & II. Both Papers are contains 150 Objective type papers, each question caries one mark, Total 150 Marks. There will be no negative marking.

About Uttar Pradesh Education Board

The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10 + 2 system of examination. The first public examination after 10 years is high school examinations and after 10 + 2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.
