Women Welfare Officer

Qualification  :  Masters in Social Work (from a recognized university) with understanding of schemes/programmes implemented with focus on women. Capable of communicating in the local language/dialect and effectively liaison with district officials. Proficiency with computers for report writing & MIS. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of working with civil society organization; Women and resident of same district.

Remuneration : Rs. 35,000/-

District Coordinator

No. of Posts  :  02

Qualification  :  Graduate in Social Work (from a recognized university). Preference will be given to candidates who are well versed with issues related to women in the District: Able to work with computers such as Word, Excel & Power Point; Women & resident of same district. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination for eligibility on the closing date of submission of application need not apply.  

Remuneration : Rs. 20,000/-

Age Limit : 35 yrs

About Goalpara district

The present Goalpara district was created in the year 1983 with two sub-divisions viz Goalpara Sadar sub-division and North Salmara Civil sub-division, carved out from erstwhile Goalpara district. However, the same was again reconstituted in the year 1989 with only Sadar sub-division of Goalpara and the Civil sub-division of North Salmara was taken away in that year and merged with newly created Bongaigaon district. At present the district of Goalpara is situated entirely on the south bank of the river Brahmaputra .
