Meghalaya Police Service Selection Process: Meghalaya Public Service Commission’s Meghalaya Police Service selection process details are given below
Selection Procedure for Meghalaya PSC Police Service : Meghalaya Police Service selection process will consists of Physical Efficiency test, Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview.
i.Physical Efficiency Test: The candidates shall have certain minimum physical standards and shall undergo a physical efficiency test (PET) as elaborated below:-
All candidates will be required to qualify in a 10 (ten) Kilometer race in 60 (sixty) minutes or less for male and 5 (five) Kilometer race in 35 (thirty five) minutes or less for female candidates.
ii. Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers. Paper I will consist of General Studies for 150 marks and Paper II will consists of Optional subjects for 300 Marks.
iii. Main Examination: The candidates who qualify in preliminary examination will be called for main examination. Main Exam will consists of eight Papers for 2300 Marks. The question papers will be of conventional (essay) type.
iv. Interview: The candidates who qualify in main examination will be called for interview. Personal interview will be conducted for 250 marks.
